FirePASS® FP/SCU-145 Compact Oxygen Reduction System
The FirePASS® FP/SCU-145 is a compact, mobile oxygen reduction fire prevention system designed for simple plug-and-play installation.
Engineered to protect rooms up to approximately 300 m³, the FP/SCU-145 generates oxygen-reduced air to maintain a controlled environment in which the risk of fire ignition is significantly reduced.
The unit combines oxygen reduction, an intuitive touchscreen control panel and advanced oxygen monitoring in one compact system, making it ideal for smaller protected spaces where reliable, continuous fire prevention is required.
Compact Plug-and-Play Fire Prevention
The FirePASS® FP/SCU-145 combines the essential components of an oxygen reduction fire prevention system in a compact, mobile unit.
Designed for plug-and-play operation, the system provides a practical solution for smaller protected environments without requiring the scale of a larger centralized oxygen reduction installation.
Its compact design also provides flexibility for applications where installation space is limited or a self-contained fire prevention solution is preferred.
How the FirePASS® FP/SCU-145 Works
The FP/SCU-145 produces oxygen-reduced air and supplies it to the protected space to establish and maintain an engineered low-oxygen environment.
By continuously controlling the oxygen concentration, the system creates conditions in which common combustible materials are significantly less likely to ignite.
Unlike conventional fire suppression systems that respond after a fire has started, the FP/SCU-145 is designed to provide continuous, proactive fire prevention.
Integrated Oxygen Monitoring and Touchscreen Control
The FirePASS® FP/SCU-145 combines oxygen reduction with integrated monitoring and system control.
A user-friendly touchscreen provides access to system operation and controls, while the integrated oxygen monitoring system continuously supervises oxygen conditions within the protected environment.
By combining these functions within one compact unit, the FP/SCU-145 provides a self-contained solution for continuous oxygen reduction fire prevention.
Oxygen Reduction Fire Prevention for Rooms up to 300 m³
The FP/SCU-145 is designed for protected rooms with a volume of up to approximately 300 m³.
Its compact configuration makes it particularly relevant for smaller enclosed spaces where valuable equipment, critical processes or sensitive assets require continuous fire prevention.
The suitability and configuration of each system depend on the characteristics of the protected space, including room volume, air leakage, required oxygen concentration and application-specific fire protection requirements.
Applications for the FP/SCU-145
The compact design of the FP/SCU-145 makes it suitable for a variety of smaller controlled environments where continuous fire prevention is required.
Depending on the specific system design and application requirements, potential applications can include:
- Server and IT rooms
- Electrical and technical rooms
- Small archives and storage rooms
- Equipment rooms
- Critical infrastructure spaces
- Other enclosed environments up to approximately 300 m³
Each application should be evaluated according to the protected volume, air leakage, combustible materials, occupancy conditions and required oxygen concentration.

A Compact Alternative to Larger FirePASS® Systems
The FP/SCU-145 is designed for smaller protected environments where a compact, integrated oxygen reduction solution is required.
For larger protected volumes, FirePASS® offers modular FP-series oxygen reduction systems that can be engineered around the size and requirements of the facility.
Selecting the appropriate FirePASS® system depends on protected volume, air leakage, required oxygen concentration and the specific fire prevention objectives of the application.
