FirePASS® Ambient Monitor for Oxygen Reduction Systems

The FirePASS® Ambient Monitor provides continuous environmental monitoring for oxygen reduction fire prevention systems.

Using advanced fluorescence quenching oxygen sensor technology, the Swiss-made sensor provides reliable O₂ concentration monitoring within the protected environment. In addition to oxygen levels, the Ambient Monitor can measure temperature, relative humidity and CO₂ concentration.

Environmental data can be transmitted to the FirePASS® controller or directly to a Building Management System (BMS), providing centralized insight into conditions within the protected space.

Environmental Monitoring for Oxygen Reduction Systems

Ambient Monitor vs. Oxygen Monitor

Both FirePASS® monitoring solutions are designed to provide oxygen concentration data within oxygen-reduced environments, but they serve different monitoring requirements.

The FirePASS® Oxygen Monitor is a dedicated stand-alone solution for continuous O₂ monitoring with configurable oxygen alarms and relay outputs.

The FirePASS® Ambient Monitor extends environmental monitoring beyond oxygen concentration by also providing temperature, relative humidity and CO₂ data, with the ability to transmit this information to the FirePASS® controller or directly to a Building Management System.

The appropriate monitoring configuration depends on the design and operational requirements of the protected environment.
