FirePASS® Complete Oxygen Reduction Fire Prevention System

The FirePASS® complete system combines oxygen reduction, continuous oxygen monitoring and intelligent system control to provide reliable, 24/7 fire prevention.

At the heart of the system is the FirePASS® control unit, which continuously monitors system performance, oxygen levels, alarms and operating conditions. The intuitive touchscreen interface provides centralized control and access to essential system data.

Designed for integration with FirePASS® oxygen reduction equipment, monitoring devices and building management systems, the complete system provides continuous supervision of the protected environment.

Centralized Control for FirePASS® Oxygen Reduction Systems

The FirePASS® control unit provides centralized monitoring and control of the oxygen reduction fire prevention system.

A user-friendly touchscreen interface provides access to system programming, settings and operating information. Password-protected access levels help ensure that system settings and controls are available only to authorized users.

The touchscreen can be installed within the generator cabinet or, depending on the system configuration, remotely in a separate enclosure.

Continuous Oxygen Monitoring and System Data

Continuous monitoring is essential for maintaining a controlled oxygen-reduced environment. The FirePASS® control unit monitors system status, alarms, warnings and oxygen concentrations throughout the protected area.

System performance data and regularly measured O₂ levels can be stored for more than one year, providing a detailed history of system operation.

Recorded data can be exported for further analysis, helping operators review oxygen levels and system performance over time.

Building Management System Integration

The FirePASS® control unit can be integrated with an on-site Building Management System (BMS) using Modbus TCP/IP communication via a standard Ethernet connection.

Depending on the system configuration, FirePASS® can also support remote monitoring and control through a web-browser-based interface.

This enables FirePASS® oxygen reduction fire prevention to become part of the wider facility monitoring and management infrastructure.

Backup Power for Continuous Monitoring

The FirePASS® control unit is equipped with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to maintain critical monitoring and alarm functions in the event of a mains power failure.

The UPS supports the control unit, touchscreen, oxygen monitors and BMS interface, helping maintain essential system supervision and alarm functionality during a power interruption.

Components of a Complete FirePASS® System

A complete FirePASS® oxygen reduction fire prevention system is engineered around the requirements of the protected environment and can combine:

  • FirePASS® oxygen reduction equipment
  • Central system control
  • Continuous oxygen monitoring
  • Ambient oxygen monitoring
  • Alarm and warning management
  • System performance and O₂ data logging
  • Building Management System integration
  • Backup power for critical monitoring functions

Together, these components create an integrated fire prevention system designed to continuously produce, monitor and maintain the required oxygen-reduced atmosphere.

Engineered for Your Fire Prevention Application

Every protected environment has different requirements. The configuration of a FirePASS® system depends on factors including protected volume, air leakage, combustible materials, required oxygen concentration, occupancy and facility-specific fire protection requirements.

FirePASS® systems can be configured for applications ranging from smaller technical rooms to data centers, automated warehouses and large industrial or critical infrastructure environments.
